Genuine Honda Cylinder Head Gasket.

We tend to change our own Cylinder Head Gaskets twice a year to insure complete sealing of the Cylinder Block and Cylinder Head. The new MSA regulations state that the Cylinder Gasket Should Measure 1mm at all points so if your gasket is near to this we recommend changing it to ensure you are racing fully legal. This is particularly important if you torque the Cylinder Head Bolts down to the higher spec to achieve a higher compression.

The key to engine performance were the Cylinder Head Gasket is concerned is trying to run as compressed a gasket as possible but within the 1mm regulations.

If a Cylinder Head Gasket is damaged, even slightly we recommend that it is changed in order to firstly ensure performance is maintained and secondly to ensure that it complies with the regulations.
