The engine air filter helps to protect the engine from being damaged by dirt, dust, sand, and other contaminants. These particles might be small, but if too many get inside the system, it can cause unwanted wear or clog your vehicle’s pipes. When performing maintenance on your kart, it's always important to regularly check and replace your air cleaners and filters. Go-kart air filters function just like ordinary car air filters; they are just shaped to fit a smaller intake. We also provide air filter adapters and choke holders to ensure a secure fit for your intake/exhaust system.
The velocity stack is designed to allow smooth continuous airflow even at high speeds. Without a velocity stack filter, you might get less efficient airflow to the engine, which can result in less engine power. While a velocity stack won't suddenly increase your speed like a new engine might, it can help give you that extra edge during a race. When every second counts, having a well-maintained velocity stack air filter might just make the difference between first and second place.
Choke Holder
Holds choke rod (Grey) in place when using Aluminum Air Filter Adapters, Adapter must be drilled and tapped.
Note: Use of the Choke Bracket requires use of a stock Honda (or Chinese OHV) "Air Filter to Carb Gasket". This is not included in the kit. You can use the one that came with the motor.

ARC Air Filter Adapter & Velocity Stack
Low-cost aluminum air filter adapter funneled and ported for the carburetor air orifices. Back side is pre-drilled for choke hold bracket. Meets specs of most racing organizations that allow aftermarket air filter adapters.

CNC Air Filter Adapter for GX200 / Chinese OHV Engines from ARC (Height 1.365")
Testing shows a marked increase in air flow and performance gains over standard ARC Adapter. (Flow Bench and Dyno testing shows this to be roughly equivalent to our black velocity stack).
Special note: The thick, rubber coated metal gasket that goes between the carb and the adapter is mandatory.
